Organizations Across the Globe Celebrate Customer Service Week
In any language good customer service is good for business.
(Boonton, NJ, August 26, 2010) — What do Chase, Wells-Fargo, Ergon Energy, GlaxoSmithKline Japan and DHL have in common.
They share a deep commitment to quality customer service and they celebrate that commitment each year during Customer Service Week.
Customer Service Week is the premier event for organizations in all industries to recognize the importance of customer service and to honor the people who serve and support customers.
Some organizations celebrate with a simple afternoon or evening event, while others plan a full week of motivational and educational activities to engage all members of the service team.
As Victoria Reed, of Specialized Association Services explains, "My company has been celebrating Customer Service Week since 1993, and it is a big part of our culture. We use the week to show employee appreciation, promote employee welfare, and take the opportunity to increase awareness of quality and service."
This year, Customer Service Week will be celebrated October 4-8, 2010.
