Signing the Customer Service Week Pledge is a great way to start your week-long celebration. It provides an opportunity to discuss the importance of the week, the meaning of the week’s theme and logo, and for everyone on your team to recommit themselves to customer service.

Make the event more meaningful by giving each person who signs the pledge a Customer Service Week Lapel Pin.

Once the pledge has been signed, post it prominently along with your Certificate of Participation in Customer Service Week.

Directions:

Gather for a brief ceremony. Discuss this year’s Customer Service Week theme, Building Trust™, and ask each participant to sign the pledge.

This week, tens of thousands of customer service professionals in all 50 states and over 60 countries are celebrating Customer Service Week. We join them in celebrating our achievements and in recommitting ourselves to our service mission.

This year’s Customer Service Week theme is Building Trust™.

When asked why they choose to work with a particular organization, customers mention a variety of things, from product quality to price to ease of ordering. But one thing is common to all of these decisions: trust.

Trust that the organization will live up to its promises and treat them fairly.

For over XX year’s we have built a high level of trust with our customers and we continue to do that today with every customer contact.

As we begin our Customer Service Week celebration, I call on each of you to pledge to continue building trust with customers (and with coworkers) throughout the year.
